Day 1 of the  1.5 year transformation of Bob’s Range.

Leveling and gaining access to the location and parking lot. 

Surveying and shaping the range using Heavy Equipment around the clock for over 5 months.

A 904 yard laneway with a $92,000 price tag was built.  In 2018, a new entrance off of Wonderland Rd at Kilbourne St. was opened.

Parking lot with numerous yards of recycled asphalt.   

Removing and separating large stone, rock, and rough material from the range over a 2 month span.

Bringing in 1 of over 4600 truck loads of fill to form the custom range look.  

Over 10,000 feet of tiling installed for proper drainage and run off to our custom made reservoir. 

Building the custom water reservoir with over 60,000 sq.yds of water and pump house. 

MAKING THE GREENS

Custom mounding the target greens and shaping the advanced detail of the Bob Martin Range. 

Successfully laid out greens and traps including short game areas, waiting for top soil.

$24,000 of sod arrives to cover a 2 level, 700 ft long tee-line and perimeters.  This is the first of many loads.

Buffer area for wind and player protection, almost ready for opening day.

First swings at Bob Martin’s State of the Art Golf Practice Range, voted No.1 practice facility in South Western Ontario.

In the beginning Bob met Ewart McLaughlin and they put a deal together on the property that he owned, along with his brother Ed.  Over the period of a year and a half, together they built the facility which covers close to 20 acres in South West London…
